RAM Flexible Ducting
There are two types of flexible ducting in the RAM range.
RAM ALUDUCT Low Noise Ducting
This flexible ducting is a three-layer multi-ply reinforced aluminium and polester laminated ducting with an encapsulated high tensile steel wire helix. This means it holds its shape very well offering less drag than competitor products, thus less noise when in use and less pressure drop.
It is individually boxed in 5m or 10m lengths.
It has also been tested for fire resistance and in the event of a fire, no toxic gases are emitted.
RAM Combi-Duct Lightproof Ducting
The lightproof flexible ducting from RAM is a four-layer multi-laminated construction with an encapsulated high tensile steel wire helix which ensures strength and durability. The black PVC outer is plant safe and is a strong vapour/light barrier which ensures extra air tightness over a standard alloy ducting while remaining very flexible.
Due to the four-layer structure, this ducting holds its shape with a seamless void when fully extended, delivering low pressure drop, no particulate clogging and little noise when in use.
It is available in 10m lengths and has been test for fire resistance.
